Summer in Florence can be HOT! I suggest packing light fabrics such as thin cotton and silk, not only do they take up very few space in the suitcase, they can keep you from having a heat stroke. Dresses are also perfect for changing your look every single day and you don’t need to think much about coordinating them, just wear and go!
As for shoes, wedges. They’re practical, comfortable and perfect for strolling around the cobblestone streets. Plus, they give me that much needed extra height.

I love seeing YOU and your outfits again! You’re always a great style inspiration and you always look so perfectly put together. Florence is at the top of my “must visit list” and I can’t wait to visit someday. I love when you “invite” us on your trips

Paris in Four Months: I’ve used my mannequin lately to post outfits because my dinky Nikon D60 finally died on me. I was able to dig out my previous outfit photos from Florence and they’re definitely more interesting, with the city as backdrop. My husband doesn’t know how to use my rangefinder camera so he can’t take pictures of me anymore and I’m too chicken to put in on a tripod/self timer for fear of my daughter knocking it down, like what she did often with my Nikon lol!

You’re always so stylishly dressed on holidays
I also really admire that you’re doing that while travelling with your little girl
Keep up the great posts. I’m super envious of your travels.
