Summer in Florence can be HOT! I suggest packing light fabrics such as thin cotton and silk, not only do they take up very few space in the suitcase, they can keep you from having a heat stroke. Dresses are also perfect for changing your look every single day and you don’t need to think much about coordinating them, just wear and go!

As for shoes, wedges. They’re practical, comfortable and perfect for strolling around the cobblestone streets. Plus, they give me that much needed extra height.
